GenYES Facilitator Weekly Message

Hi GenYES Facilitators,

As we enter May, is important that the Generation YES nonprofit organization knows your plans for the upcoming 2018-19 school year. We have crafted a very short survey aimed at letting us know your intentions so we can serve you better. Please click on this link to complete the short (less than 4 minute) survey.

The survey is for our planning but we also have two new Toolkit documents aimed at helping you with your 2018-19 planning. These two documents will help both you and your administrators set goal and objectives. To download these documents, login to your GenYES Facilitator account, click on the Learn tab, then click on the Startup Resources section of the Toolkit. You can also download them below.

Keep those TAPs flowing.

TAP of the Week

Today's TAP of the Week comes from a 7th grader at Stauffer Middle School in California, where an STL helped the IT staff by testing their content filters.

Title: testing content filters
TAP Description: I will check out social media sites like Facebook and Twitter to see if our school or district allows students to establish school-related accounts on them. I will report this back to our Gen yes class and decide how to move forward.
TAP Accomplishments: first i went to websites that involved social media. then I made a list what i can go on and what i cant go on.
